Are there professional standards for Massage/ Polarity/ SE ?
Yes, all three modalities have distinct codes of ethics and training programs. 

Massage Therapy I am a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist Lic #018259-1, and I follow the code of ethics and guidelines as detailed by the New York State Office of the Professions.

Polarity Therapy
I am a Registered Polarity Practitioner with Board Certification and follow the guidelines and ethics detailed by the American Polarity Therapy Association.

5 Tips to Stop Anxiety from Stopping You

You know when anxiety gets going it rarely stops. It is a constant state that is either more or less at any given time. 

Any one of these five steps will help you introduce a different/countering state of being at times when your anxiety is noticeable and may be stopping you from doing something you want to do (meet with friends, make a presentation) or being a way you want to be (loving, connected, spontaneous).

  1. Make crazy faces in the mirror.
  2. Splash cold water on your face.
  3. Whistle.
  4. 10 Slow Deep Breaths.
  5. Feel the stability of the ground under your feet.
